Hurricane Relief

Its hard to watch the news and not see the devestation of Hurricane Katrina. The fact that it could be months before New Orleans is a functioning city again is absolutely mind boggling. My heart just sinks to the floor when I start thinking of all the people affected by this disaster. New Orleans is already one of the most poverty stricken cities in the country, and now its in even worse shape. I urge anyone to donate whatever you can at redcross.org. Even just $5.00 makes a difference. I will keep the entire city in my prayers and hope that the country can rally around New Orleans and all the disaster areas. I don't think it has quite sunk in yet for Americans the impact Katrina will have for years to come.
